Today we hit the re-set button on our weekly bicycle breakfast tour. With COVID restrictions lightening up, we set out to continue our tradition of riding our bikes to a local breakfast restaurant.
Today’s stop, The Dell in Bowness, Calgary. The Dell is a diner that has been around since the 1950’s and serves up just about everything you would want for breakfast. They do a handy take-out business that includes lunch and dinner as well. They offer everything from toast and jam to liver and onions and Chinese food and seem to do a steady local business. The owners are always friendly and quick to serve. The coffee is good, and the food is always consistent and enjoyable. And, inexpensive. Did I mention inexpensive?
If you haven’t tried The Dell, make it one of your next local choices as this economy of ours gets a kick-start. It’s small business like The Dell who have managed to hold it together and re-open for us to enjoy. Many thanks to them for hanging in there!
